My 2 Wheeled Dream - the Honda NS400R
One look at this sweet little ride tells you it's gonna be great! For its time, it was amazing - 418 soaking wet and full of gas, 72 horsepower
2-stroke liquid cooled 3 cylinder "V" engine , an all-aluminum frame (very exotic back then), with powerful brakes and top-notch handling.
They ran mid 12's at 109+ mph in the 1/4 and averaged mid 30's mpg. There were 2 different paint schemes available - the one shown
below (my favorite) and a "Rothman Racing" version. The Rothman models also had a slightly different front fork/fender setup as seen in
the picture on the right.

The absolute coolest part of this bike was the 3rd exhaust pipe tucked up above the right rear turn signal. If you saw an NS400R from
behind, you KNEW what it was - there was no other bike on the road with that look! And the sound of that V3 2-stroke was just SO different!
