REAL Mopars
These are a few of the old Mopars that I've personally owned.
LIST price of $4221.70!!!!
Those were the days!
Yes, folks, I paid $400 for this all original 69 Road Runner. 383, 4 speed 3.23's, drum brakes, power steering and
a bench seat. The only mods to it were an Accel dual point and a set of slot mags. I towed it to Greg's house (It
had sat for 11 years), put a battery in it, and it fired up on the old gas, points, plugs - but that's a Mopar for ya! All
tuned up it did very well racing - even beat a friends 302 powered Pinto - from a roll, AND from a standing start!
You can see from the pictures, the paint had fried from being left out in the sun for 11 years, but I didn't care - it
was my first Road Runner. The second was an original 70 Road Runner Super Bird. I'll post pics of it when I can
get them scanned. It was a 440+6, pistol grip 4 speed, 3.54 Dana, Hemi Orange, bench seat car.
Don't ask about the hair - it was the 80's, OK?
The car that got me started - my
1968 Dodge Charger. 383
automatic, with air, console shift -
man I loved that car!
